- That each member of MCBC ministers to the needs of those who are spiritually and emotionally hurting
- That each member of MCBC strives in obedience to Christ to serve the body through the proper exercise of spiritual gifts, capitalizing on their personal skills and experiences
- That each member of MCBC serves physical needs of the community and one another in love
