Our Values

E-mail Print PDF
  • Grace Motivated
God has taken the initiative to bless us with every spiritual and material blessing so that our worship, service, and sacrifice are expressions of our love, anticipation and expectation of what God has in store for each of us.

  • Authentic Worship
God is our audience, our worship leaders are our guides, and we are the worshipers celebrating who God is and anticipating what He is doing in our lives by our praise, prayers and worship.

  • Seeker Sensitive
We extend a warm welcome to the guest who desires to explore faith in God without any expectations or pressure tactics. We encourage spiritual seekers to examine what God has to say about their spiritual journey. We expect God to meet everyone who worships Him with authenticity.

  • Authentic Community
God intends His church to provide a safe place where people can get to know each other personally and encourage each other with love, spiritual fellowship and practical support. We encourage and provide different types of groups where people can share their spiritual blessings and heartaches in an environment of authentic love.

  • United in Membership
The qualifications for church membership at MCBC are a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, believer's baptism, and a commitment to this community of believers. Those who meet these requirements may declare their Covenant of Fellowship with a board member and unite with this community of believers

  • Ministries Led and Supported by our Members
We encourage our members to initiate and lead ministries as God calls them. He provides us with spiritual gifts and specific abilities, which help us accomplish this calling. Also, boxes are provided at the exits of the church for gifts and offerings. Contributing our resources of time, spiritual gifts, talents and money are all acts of worship and exercises in stewardship of God's blessings.

  • Church Symbolic Ordinances
Water baptism by immersion visually symbolizes the reality of spiritual baptism by the Holy Spirit, which places believers in the body of Christ.
Communion commemorates the cleansing of our consciences by confessing sin through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross that then gives us the energy to serve Him.

  • Servant Leadership
Our church is led by spiritually qualified men who make themselves available to serve Jesus Christ in our church. Elders and deacons serve as the Shepherds and Servants to the church as the church officers.
