Matt has a passion for student ministries and has served in that capacity for over twelve years. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Colorado and a Master of Theology from Dallas Seminary. He plays golf and can ride a skateboard. How’s that for combining old school with new school!  He has a heart for those in the mainstream and for those on the margin. You will find Matt having lunch with students on their campuses; leading campus studies and at local games. He has innovative ministry experiences that serve him well at MCBC. Matt is extremely relational, creative, and an excellent leader and teacher. He and his wife, Cheri, have twin daughters and a new son! The love in their home is the "stuff" that permeates their ministry with students.
