What To Expect On Sunday Mornings

Mississauga City Baptist Church is a diverse congregation of about 300 active members coming from some 40 different nations around our globe. Our worship blends both traditional and contemporary expressions. We are intentionally multi-cultural and multi-generational.

When Do I Come?

We begin our Sunday morning services at 9:00am and 11:00am.  Parking is located in the back at 3434 Cawthra Road, Mississauga Ontario just south of Burnhamthorpe with access to public transit nearby.

What Do I Bring?

If you have a Bible, bring it! Our Pastors provide Biblically based teaching each Sunday, and bringing your own Bible will help you follow along. Don't have one? That's alright - we also put the passages referred to on our projection screens, as well as provide a limited number of Bibles in the seating area as well.

What Do I Wear?

Dress comfortably. While some attendees do wear their "Sunday best", most folks wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday morning. Don't worry about what you wear - just come expecting a great experience!

Where Do I Go Once I'm Inside?

Our sanctuary is located just to the right as you enter the main entrance.  Once inside the sanctuary an Usher will guide you to your seat.

Where Do My Kids Go?

For infants through Grade 4: your children will go to Promiseland, our Children's ministry, and be well cared for in age-appropriate settings. Kindergarten through Grade 4 kids will experience both a small group setting as well as a large group worship and learning experience. Ask any leader in Promiseland for more information! Your kids will be registered and matched up with you at the end of the service.

Middle School Students (Grades 5-8): your student will go to the J-Unit a learning environment designed specifically for kids of that age group.

What About Security?

We take security very seriously. Children: Each child must be registered before entering a Promiseland small group room. Adults: We have a dedicated security team that will respond in the case of emergencies, security or health-related incidents. We do our best to ensure our environment is safe for you and your family!
