What we understand God to say in His Word

• The Bible
  The Bible is God's Word to man and is the final authority for our faith, values, and daily life.
  2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 2:21
   
• The Nature of God
  There is only one God, but in the unity of the Godhead, there are three eternal and coequal persons.
  Matthew 28:19
   
• Jesus Christ
  Jesus Christ is the unique God-man, conceived in the virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit, who is undiminished deity and perfect humanity, united in one person forever.
  John 1:1,14; 10:30
   
• The Holy Spirit
  The Holy Spirit, though present everywhere from eternity, took up permanent residence in believers beginning at Pentecost to unite all true believers to Christ in one body called the church.
  1 Corinthians 12:13
   
• Humanity
  Each human being is incredibly valuable because each was created in the image of God for a relationship with Him. However, each human being has sinned by nature and by choice, thus violating that relationship resulting in separation from God.
  Genesis 1:26-27; Isaiah 53:6
   
• The Savior
  Jesus Christ became a human so that he could provide the sacrifice of his perfect life for the sins of humanity and restore man's relationship with God. It is by God's unmerited favor that a person believes in Jesus Christ and becomes a child of God, fit for heaven.
  John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9
   
• Satan
  Satan is a real person who opposes all good in this world through his demons, but who stands under divine judgment.
  Ephesians 6:11-12
   
• The Christian Life
  The Christian life is a high and holy calling to be lived by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit by faith in Jesus Christ.
  Romans 8:1-4; Ephesians 4:1-3
   
• Our Hope
  Our blessed hope is for Jesus Christ to return from heaven to receive all those who have trusted him for their eternal life.
